Subject: stubborn tooth!

Today I had my first adjustment after having braces for 8 weeks. The orthodontist said I've had quite a bit of movement because there was a good size bit of wire at the back. The only possible problem is that we were hoping to get my lower right cuspid to fit in with the rest of the bottom teeth. Right now it's behind the other teeth and there's only about half a centimeter (if that) space for it to move into. I have had a coil on there since I had the braces put on but it still doesn't seem to be budging to make room for this stubborn tooth! Today he put on a lot thicker wire on the bottom and this time it goes right to the very back molar (before it was only back as far as my first molar). He said if it hasn't improved by the next time he sees me (in 7 weeks) then I will have to have that tooth extracted. I'm wondering if that's going to screw my midline up. Wouldn't you have to take one tooth from each side to make it even? I have quite a mouthful of teeth so I'm not too worried about losing one as long as it will look ok when it's finished. It still seems weird that I have impacted wisdom teeth and we're not removing those but..one thing at a time I guess! :)
