It's been awhile since I've posted, I just finished my 6th month of treatment.. I can't believe it's been that long!

My teeth look pretty straight to me but my bite is off so I got elastics at my latest appt a couple days ago and oh my do they hurt. I was downing Ibuprofen all day, and finally at dinner I took them out to eat and haven't been able to make myself put them back in. The pain sucks, I thought the spacers were the worst part but this is close.

Another thing that annoyed the crap out of me is the ortho tech who put in my wire cut it before she tied it on so it left a really sharp edge that isn't long enough to clip but long enough to tear up the inside of my cheek. UGHHHH.

I asked my ortho if it would be less than the 18 month estimate and he said no but I am on schedule :(
Oh well, better than being behind!!
