Welcome to the board... :o)
I've never heard anyone on here (since I've been here) who has similar treatment to yours, but sounds interesting.
Don't worry about eating... you'll soon be used to it and you'll find creative ways to get food in. lol We've all had a moment where we have thought that it would be liquid form only, but I myself found ways around munching when I wasn't able to bite properly.
