I have lingual braces on my top teeth. I got them a week ago. I told no one at work, and not one person has even noticed a thing. Well, of course you cannot see them (they go on the backside of your teeth) but I do talk a little strangely (the "s" sound is hard to create). I hear that with time, this goes away and you adjust to speaking more normally.
I'm getting ceramics on the bottom eventually. I hope my ortho will use the clear wire, otherwise it defeats the purpose!

>Wow! White coloured wire, I didn't know you could do
>that too. Cool! I have ceramic braces top & bottom
>which I've had for five days now & to my knowledge
>only two of my colleagues have noticed so far.
