One of my lower center front teeth was turning in (clear) retainers, so the ortho pinched a couple of dimples in the retainer that hurt for about 3 days but pushed the tooth back in line. The interesting part is that it also lowered it in the gum quite a bit! The braces raised my 5 front lower teeth higher than the other bottom teeth and I hate that. If this one tooth stays lower, I will ask him when I see him in a week if he can lower the other 4 that way. That would make me very happy! (It is horrible to spend so much money and pain for braces and be unhappy with the results. Thank goodness the top looks nice.) At this rate, I may be full time in retainers another year! Honestly, I thought he removed the braces too soon, but he refuses to discuss the work, so I had to submit.
