I am a regular user on another forum and I find that I really appreciate a 'ten most recent topics/threads posted(regardless of category)' column so when I finally get a chance to check in, I can click on what's new that interests me. Another feature that would be useful is a list of new topics posted since a user's last login. Otherwise, this forum looks great! Enjoy your trip - sounds really exciting!
