Yep, I agree, the fewer the categories the better. I've posted on another similar forum with a "newbie" category and the newbies are just kind of out there on their own while the regulars are posting on the main pages. It might be helpful to provide a direct link to the Archwired FAQ site for newbies or those thinking about braces so their most basic questions can be answered up front.

Also, some of the other categories can easily be consolidated, like "eating with braces" posts can be included in "living with braces." Might be good to start with a few basic categories and add more if there seems to be a logical demand for them. But the format looks good -- thanks for your effort, Lynn.

BTW, my kit arrived on Saturday. I'll be thoroughly enjoying its contents starting tomorrow!
