Subject: bite ...

Hi,

I have my braces now for 3 months and have this question about my bite.
I would like to know what is best when you have braces,
try to keep upper teeth apart from lowers all day or just
the opposite, and try to keep them together. I am asking this because I did the first, not fully close my
mouth, and now my bite is a lot worse than it used to be. I know they first align teeth and then fix the bite,
but during these months my bite got really bad.
Not a single teeth 'occluses' well. It really scares me.
Did anyone of you also got a really bad bite, before it got better again ? And should my mouth 'be shut' or
slightly open.

Thanks in advance, Clo.
