In reply to: *!*_smilez_of_metal 's message, "i was late" on 13:18:46 07/27/04 Tue

I have a similar "problem" in that I work downtown in a big city, where public transit is the norm. To get to my ortho appointments, I must take a bus. I take the bus that is supposed to get me to the ortho 10 minutes early for my appointment. If the bus is running late, I call the office on my cell phone. I have only been late once, 10 min, but it was due to the bus. They have been understanding, but I also understand it from their perspective. This is the best I can do, so I will try to be as understanding if they are occasionally late. I usually bring something to read in case of delays, and ALWAYS to medical appointments, since it is a rule-of-thumb that physicians always run late in see patients.

>Today i went for my first adjustment and i was late,

>desk told me that i missed my appointment and that she
>would have to reschedule me for a later day...i know
>this might seem childish but i feel like she should
>have allowed me to wait...has any one else had this
>experience or was the lady just being rude! There was
>another time i went and this other lady was late and
>they allowed her to wait!
