Subject: Shaping process.

After ready removal stories over and over, I've noticed that several people have said that their orthodontist shaped their teeth.

I am curious if all orthodontists do this to their patients, at least those who need it?

I've noticed that mostly my canines are uneven from my other teeth, and my lateral incisors are different shapes.

I think shaping of my teeth during debonding will greatly improve the overall appearance, but I'm not sure that all orthodontists do this, or if you have to specifically ask. I'm rather shy, so I'd likely be too embarrassed to ask for fear of making myself look like an idiot.

I am hoping, since orthodontists are perfectionists by their very nature, that they do it instinctively to those who need it.

Any insight?
