It took me several days to do it successfully. The contacts on my back teeth are very tight, so even if I could get the floss under the wire, the floss wouldn't go through the teeth.

I've had the most success using a regular floss threader and regular Glide floss. You might find it easier to pull the threader between the teeth, rather than just under the archwire. I've found that Glide floss doesn't shred like other types of floss when it comes in contact with metal bands.
