well after over 2 years of the metal mouth i will be free of them on aug 11th

my bite is not totally closed up but i am going on month vacation and asked if they would be off before o leave and he said yes, i suppose if i wore the finish elastics like i should it would close a bit better but im happy with everything and am not to worried about the little space when i bite down.

so its a wed i get them off and i dont get my retainers the hawley type until monday,, is that to long to wait for them? wont my teeth move to much over 5 days.. they usually deliver htem after 2 days but the way the scedule is etc and the office being closed on friday i wont be able to get them till monday.

shouldi be waiting to get my braces off after my vacation when i can get the retainers like 2 days after?

he said i will need to wear them 6 months 24/7 then part time for ever.
