after being on this forum i have seen that a lot of orthos liek metal more than ceramic. My ortho said that he likes ceramic better, but he will only use them on the top 6 front teeth. just thought thats kinda odd. May be because of his age, he is pretty young. anyways i have metal and ceramic braces(top 6 ceramic) and love them. If i want things to be descrete then i jsut dont smile that big, but if i dont car then i smile away and show off my bright pink ligs. But overall id say go with what you want, im sure that you would be perfectly happy in metal and after a while you will get so used to them and im sure people wont really notice them that much.

Oh and just a sidenote the ceramics, going only on the size of my clarity ceramics, arent the least bit bulkier that metal brackets to me. And i haev also found they are a little bit more comfortable for me then my metal ones. But thats just my opinion =)
