I got all ceramic and I am very happy with them. They only hurt for the first week and since then I never once needed to use wax or had any problems; less noticible and more unique (most people have metal). But this is what I wanted and I was willing to pay the extra money for them. If I could not afford to pay the extra or my Ortho advised that metal would have been better for my case, I'd probably have gone with the metal and sure you'll get used to any braces whether they are metal or ceramic ones.
