I hear you, Igor! I hate the slurring that goes along with the expander territory. As it turns out, I asked my ortho yesterday at an appointment how long my expander will likely stay on. She still says 3 months and then will put a retainer of some sort in to hold the new position achieved. I've had my expander in for 5 weeks and have noticed the teeth have moved. I notice on the board here that some folks get an expander in before braces. I got braces on, then the expander. Go figure. Hang in there, Igor!
