You're right about the metal taste and the physical problems with eating while an expander is in. Takes the joy right out of eating. And I love to eat. If you have read my earlier posts, I have been losing weight since starting braces 2 months ago and have taken to drinking homemade healthy smoothies and milkshakes to boost my nutritional intake. Hang in there.
