Yes.

The pain could come at any time. If it hasn't come by tomorrow, though, you likely will not have any.

The pain of my started almost immediately. The ortho assistant literally murdered my gums when trying to put them in there. My teeth were really close together, so instead of calling the ortho over to do it more gently, she was just pulling as hard as she could. There's no way that could be healthy for the gums.

They may just do it that way, but it sure doesn't seem very nice. ;)

But chances are, you'll epxerience minimal pain.
