I completely understand where ur coming from. When I got my braces on about 6 weeks ago, I had no one to tell me what to expect. It was torture for the first few weeks. I really did not want them anymore. I was so upset! I really thought that the kinda pain i was in, was NOT worth a great smile.. I guess i was a lil more stubborn about the eating thing. I was hoping i would lose a few pounds but i would just force myself to eat! I would chew very delicately with my front teeth and swallow. Yeah im a dork. I think i may have even gained some weight because I was having milkshakes non-stop! haha. Anyways.. the point of my posting is that it really will get better and you really will be able to eat good food again. Just keep takin pain relievers and stay positive. I know that when you look in the mirror and notice some big changes to ur smile u will realize it was all worth it!
