I'm still biting metal but not like I was - I would not call it normal though. I have an open bite because the brackets won't allow my teeth to mesh the way they did before they went on. My molars are about 3mm apart and it's almost impossible to chew anything. Most of the pain is gone now, and I only use a little wax at night. So it get's better.

They should send Saddam Hussien to my Ortho - he would lead them to those WMD in no time - just make him stop!!!

I've lost about 15lbs so far (not a bad thing)! Two square and mushy meals a day. I have a protien shake for breakfast.

I worked out how to eat cookies courtesy of my 7 year old daughter last week. The trick is you dunk them in milk first, wait till they go abit mushy and then you eat them!! I doubled her allowance for the week LOL!!

It's pretty crappy but (in my case) it's better than dental implants and root canal's...
