I don't know. Spacers were absolutely miserable for me, and lasted over a week.

Pain with the braces didn't last any longer than two days, but the minor discomfort from the brackets feeling uncomfortable lasted about a week.

Spacers, thus far, were the worst part of the entire process for me. When I got my appliace (like the Nancy), that day really sucked, but other than that I've been okay.
