My gap is huge, and is about 4mm and my ortho told me in 3 months it should be closed. My 1st adjustment just got power chains, and the ortho&asst. told me that I should notice a big difference. A good website is http://www.faythe.com/bracesdiary.html. She had a 3mm gap and it closed in about 3 months, so hopefully you will have the same or even better results. Hopefully this will be helpful
