I *love* the wax my Ortho gave me as it has silicone in it - the wax you can buy in stores (ie: drug stores or Wal-Mart - where I've bought some before) isn't as 'soft' and manageable as the wax from my Ortho. I felt baddly for asking for more, so I had called the maker Infa-Lab "Brace Relief" wax, and found out they only sell to distributors in *major* bulk (I wasn't going to require THAT much! lol) My Ortho told me that it certainly wasn't an issue, and to please ask if I ever need - and she told me this after she would ask me (at each adjustment appt) if I needed more wax!

So check with your Ortho to ask for more wax - I would assume it's a part of the overall cost, as my Ortho dishes it out to me all the time.
