How quickly does relapse happen? I think if the retainer wasn't worn the first year they'd probably relapse quickly, but after that, how long does it take? Also, one question I have about retainers..I read somewhere that 3/4 people get braces(seems believable, most of my friends had braces or have them now), yet most people I know don't wear a retainer at night(except for when the braces first come off)..why would that be?
