 Hi Jeff, I just had bonded retainers fitted recently, and although it was difficult (according to my ortho) it was definately possible! In the end, instead of one piece of wire bonded across all the teeth, he bonded a small piece tooth to tooth, (ie each tooth was bonded to the next by a separate piece of wire) He bonded my 6 lower, but only my upper 4 and in the last week and a half I have had gaps open up next to the bonded teeth, so will go back but not sure if there is anything he can do now.
