I am almost 2 weeks in upper braces and I can honestly say I have had very little discomfort...only in the chewing department and I can handle that. Everyone told me that I would have pain the first couple of weeks. Well, don't believe everything you hear. It seems that everyone has a different experience. We are all here for the same purpose in this forum, to encourage one another in the decision we made to have straighter teeth. Go for it!
