I had the periapical xray. The hygenist and dentist said I have good jaw bone structure so an implant would work and that the tooth might not go right away, it could be a long time. It still sounds terrible to me to lose a tooth in the front after a lot of dental and ortho work over the years. I gather from the statement "the tooth is pretty beat up" that 50% root resorption is a pretty bad sign. Sigh. I guess I don't have any more questions, except the hygenist said I should take calcium to make sure I don't have bone loss and that bone loss/osteoporosis could affect jaws too.
