In reply to: JeffG 's message, "Yep, braces do a lot on the first wire!" on 15:10:22 07/13/04 Tue

Hey I got my braces 2 weeks ago and I saw change in about 3-4 days!, it was that quick! the wire they use usually is a high tensile moulded wire that always wants to get back to its original shape which is like a U, so its moving your teeth for longer, in my case my second appointment is 8 weeks, they said at this time the wire will still be working. My gums are fairly healthy and that makes them move faster, so keep brushing etc..., its been two weeks now and my friends and family are noticing a big change in my teeth, which were bucky and open bited. Its very exciting really.
