Hi Helen,

If your dentists approve of orthodontics, then go for it! You will never have any regrets. It is an investment in better dental health, more self confidence and a better appearance. You can't go wrong!

I am in my early 60's and have been in treatment for about 5 1/2 months. I saw my peridontist yesterday for a routine cleaning appt. He had not seen me since I had the brackets placed on my teeth. His comment was that there was a dramatic difference and that the results are already looking "gorgeous". Of course, that made my day! I have about 6 more months to go but it has already been worth the occasional discomforts. I have been through far worst with dental problems, including root resorption of a back molar which required extensive treatment to be saved. This is my 2nd round of braces but I would do this all again in a heart beat.

Go for it!
