Heck no, you're not too old! I'm 47 and just got mine last week. What finally persuaded me, after a life time of having crowded/crooked teeth and TMJ problems, was my dentist saying that crooked teeth could become a health issue as I got older, and that I was more likely to lose my teeth if I left them untreated.

I had to wear twin blocks for a year to realign my bite and make enough room for the teeth to move when the braces went on, so I'm only mid-way through a 2-year renovation, but I know it will be worth it!
