Im 20 and just got braces a week ago, I thought I was the youngest person on here until now. Anyway nobody gives a hoot. everyones been positive. I have always needed braces but to tell you the truth i dont think I was ready for them till now. I needed to be in the mindset that I was doing something positive, not just uncomfortable and unattractive (not that theyre that bad on either of those factors, I know now), I think when I was younger and more impressionable I would have been more concious about my braces, Ive got the clear ones too on the top and a very big smile people actually say they look good. So dont sweat it. In two years time people will look at you and think gees what a beautiful smile, maybe I should get braces.
