Subject: when should teeth start to look perfect? Cause mine don't!

I thought teeth were supposed to look great for at least a few months before braces come off. I'm supposed to get my braces off in two months, but my midline is now way off and I can't get my top front teeth to touch my bottom front teeth! I've had braces for 10 months (I was told one year). These weren't problems when I got the braces — I had crowding. Shouldn't they look better by now?

- when did your teeth start to look great?
- how do orthos get front teeth to meet? my ortho is reshaping molars (sanding some down), but is this enough?
- how do you fix a midline? I have spring things on my bottom on both sides, but it looks like my top teeth need to move about an 1/8-inch to the left.

I'm so ready to get these things off, but I don't know if my teeth can improve enough in two months. Yet my ortho is talking about "final touches." Help!
