You asked what I meant about nobody choosing to have a metalmouth if there was any other way. Example: a friend of mine was recently given the option of choosing between two years in braces or a retainer she would have to wear only at night, but for the rest of her life. She opted for the retainer. So while metalmouth is often the only option available for most of us, it isn't always the only option, or the best, for everyone.

Sorry for adding fuel to the fire. You're right. I will keep my mouth shut from now on.
