Sean, Don't be such a chicken. I'm 43 years old and have had headgear for almost a year now. I wear it 20-23 Hours a day. Out in public etc. You may get an occasional look or stare but thats it. I've cut my time down in braces by 6 months the ortho says just by wearing it all the time in 2 months the hg will be gone and we'll go directly to finishing elastics. Hang in there.
