It's nice to hear from a teen with a positive attitude!
No one wants braces - but everyone wants straight teeth. Being depressed does not grant anyone the right to carry-on like little brat.
ImReallyTired picked the wrong venue to vent her spoilt brat message, "Yeah this is gonna suck". Allot of us are parents - If my son or daughter sounded off like "ImReallyTired" I would feel like a total failure as a parent for not having instilled a basic value system.
We were all teenagers once - and spoilt brats were a dime a dozen when I was a kid too. It's no differnt today....
Sounds like you have your head on straight and appreciate what your parents have done for you. I'm sure they are proud..
