Hi Monica,

I don't know if this will be helpful but... I also have the same problem (not all the time, just some of the time). I'm trying to find some kind of light-weight/thin mouth guard I can wear at night to stop that from happening. I see my ortho on Wednesday so I'll ask him if there's anything he can recommend. I also heard there was some kind of mouth guard made for kids who play musical instruments. I'm wondering if that could be adapted for sleeping. Anyone out there have any experience with this? I'll post again when I find out more...

>hey i am finding now, after a week and a half of
>having braces that when I wake up I have big dents
>underneath my cheeks and lines from the wire, its
>worse on one side, coz thats the way I sleep. IT
>really hurts in the morning coz they rub, its getting
>worse. I was wondering if the only solution is to wax
>up my entire braces to avoid this happening or is
>there something else I could use? anyone?
