I'm so glad I found this forum!! I've been reading some of the posts for the past week and I've learned a lot. My mom had braces about 4 years ago (I'm 25) and my two younger sisters have had braces. The thing is that my family thinks I don't need braces, but I want to straighten out my already pretty straight teeth. I don't like the way two teeth on the bottom and two teeth on the top look. The two top front teeth aren't noticeable, but the ones on the bottom are if I smile really big. Anyways, is it worth it to go ahead and fix them? I've already been to the ortho and he said that I'll need full braces and for about 18 months (give or take a few months). I figured that I would only need a retainer since they aren't bad. I have an appointment on August 12th to have the spacers put in and I go back on August 16th to have the top braces put on. I'm just looking for feedback about your experiences with braces and if it'll be worth it for only a few teeth.
Thanks ahead of time,
Amber
