I have spaces between my teeth, too, and feel very unhappy about them. The ortho says the points of the gums between the teeth might fill in with time. Apparently if the spaces are too large, the slenderizing and cinching technique doesn't work. I don't want bonding, either, because of the color problem and the fact that it wears away and has to be redone. So I am debanding Monday, but if 5 more months in braces would solve my spaces, I would definitely stay in braces! I feel bad that your ortho is so uncooperative and obviously not putting your results before his convenience! Let us know what you decide and what the results are.
