I was told that I really shouldn't use the wax at night, but I too find that I'm in a bit of pain in the morning.. so I use just a wee bit on the *major* areas... and in the morning when I first wake up, I do what I call "the puffer fish" - which is I push my lips together and puff up air into my mouth to 'unhitch' my stuck cheeks n' lips from all the brackets n' wires. I'm usually sore from the elastics too, but I've noticed it's not always bad every morning - just now and then...

>hey i am finding now, after a week and a half of
>having braces that when I wake up I have big dents
>underneath my cheeks and lines from the wire, its
>worse on one side, coz thats the way I sleep. IT
>really hurts in the morning coz they rub, its getting
>worse. I was wondering if the only solution is to wax
>up my entire braces to avoid this happening or is
>there something else I could use? anyone?
