Well, Michael Rasmussen (talented climber) of CSC (no Tiscali anymore) was one of the best MTBers in Europe and the World. Needless to say, he's now out hauling Tyler and Co. up climbs - a faithful domestique.

Cadel Evans (of course).

Roger Hammond (UK) delves into cyclo-cross as National Champion and road racing in the main season for Palmans-Collstrop.

I believe that David Bramati competes in cyclo-cross, though it might be someone else.....

Of course, the DP's own Kashi Leuchs rode MTB and as a stagiare for Saeco-Longoni Sport.

Adriano Baffi (who's just retired) completed 18 years in the pro peloton and he also competed in many track events - winning his last in New Caledonia (i think).

Bradley McGee won the World Pursuit Title and also won the Dauphine Libre Prologue amongst most things in 2002.
Others:
Brad Wiggins (track and road - UK)
Roland Green (MTB and road, did a bit of racing with Marco Polo CC - South Africa)

This is an intriguing topic and there are surely many more I haven't gone into - kudos and more cyclists to be named!
