It is located in a pasture in Mt Zion Community west of Magee Ms. Sadly roots and fallen trees have almost destroyed the headstones but they lay peacefully under the pines and a very large old cedar tree.

Looking for ancestors of Oliver Walker who was born in New York, New York, July 11, 1782, to William and Leah Walker. In 1803 he married Nancy Cressy, daughter of William Cressy and Hannah Townsend. Nancy was born in New Brunswick, New Jersey, January 20, 1780. They had ten children, 37 grandchildren, and at least 124 great grandchildren. I'm connected to them by their youngest daughter, Eveline Walker, born May 16, 1823 in Randolph County, Indiana, who married James Henry Rollins, September 4, 1838 at her parents place on Shoal Creek, Caldwell County, Missouri. They were married by Brigham Young of the Mormon Church. Her older sister, Dionitia, was married to Jeremiah Plumb the same day, also by Brigham Young. Any info would be most appreciated. Best Regards, Della Dale Smith

Hi, I'm trying to track back to my 4th G.G. who was possibly born in Europe (England or Scotland) or may be an American Indian? I don't know is first name but his son's name is John Curtis Walker (1800-1869) born in Hopewell, Somerset County, MD. He married Lydia Whaley (born 1810) in either MD or VA. Their children are: Henry (John), Hester A., Zachariah, Nathan, Sarah Jane and Ferlilia, all born in Somerset County, MD., living in Brinkleys District, Somerset County, MD. I hope you can help. I am at a dead-end in my line. It's been passed down in my family that we are of American Indian descent. I'm not sure if I can't find this Walker because he may be an Indian?

GGGG Grandfather John A Walker, b. 1770, died before 1850. who married Caroline Blair (??). Family history for the next 3 generations comes from Izard County, Arkansas. Hit the brick wall when trying to figure out anything before John A. Walker in 1770. Would like to know where he was born, who is father was and grandfather and where they came from. John A. Walker had a son named John A. Walker(married to Ellender Chism), who had a son named Hartwell B. Walker(married twice to Elizabeth Ann Gray and Dollie Sims), who had Solon F. Walker (married to Emmer Clementine Corbin), who had Fred H. Walker (married to Josie Mae DeBoard), father to my father, Robert L. Walker, Sr.(married to Janice Marie Carra). Hartwell died in 1901 in Fulton County, AR. Solon died in 1945 in Sedan, KS and Fred died in 1972 in Sedan, KS. Solon was born in 1872 in Izard Co., AR; Fred was born in 1901 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma Territory. Would GREATLY APPRECIATE ANY information someone may have on my ancestors supposedly from Scotland, maybe England. A lot of the information we have found after 1770 was found on the website below.

My Great Grandfather was Comly Walker.
His Father was Samuel Carey Walker.
In searching for Samuel Carey Walker's parents, I came across a Walker Line I'd not found before and may be the answer to your Thoms Walker question.
Lewis Walker left Wales in 1686, arrived Pa 1687 (13 months) settled in Radnor. Married: Mary Morris April 22, 1693
Moved to Tredyffrin Twp, Chester County Pa in 1705
Their children were:
Daniel: B 1694 - 1772
Elizabeth: @ 1696
Joseph: @ 1698
Hannah: @ 1700
Enoch: @1702
Abel: @ 1705
***Isaac: @ 1707/10

Isaac Married Sarah Jerman.
Their Children:
***Joseph: @ 1730
Mary: @1732
Lewis: @ 1735
Mary
Hannah
Benjamin
Azael,
Rachel
Abel
Isaac
Leah

***Joseph Married SARAH THOMAS
THEY HAD 13 CHILDRN BETWEEN @1756 AND 1785
Zillah
Isaac
Priscilla
THOMAS
joseph
Sarah
Mary
Naomi
Lewis
Joseph (2nd joseph, 1st probably died)
Enoch
William
Jesse

If the listing for these children is chronological, according to birth, this Thomas may have been born between 1763 & 1770.

If you have no indication of another "thomas" in your line, it stands to reason that he was possibly named after his mother's maiden name, which, in this case, was THOMAS.

If you have any information regarding Parents of:
Samuel Carey (Cary) Walker 1820 - 1899
Married (4th mo, 10th 1844 = June 10, 1844)
Louisa Rebecca Wells 1821 - 1892

Both sets of parents were born in Pa. Samuel and Louisa had 4 children, one of whom (Comly Walker) is my ggrandfather.
Samuel and Louisa were Quaker, buried in Friends Meeting Burial Ground, Horsham, Montgomery County, Pa. I have no lineage PRIOR to Samuel C.

I am trying to locate the birthplace of my ancestor James Walker. All I know of him is that he was born in Canada around 1830-1835 and that his father's name was Peter. James came to Australia before 1860. I am desperate to find any information on my Canadian heritage. Hoping someone can help me. Many thanks.

I am looking for information on the parents and siblings of my ggg grandfather, Thomas Walker. He was born abt 1776 in PA, died 1831 Ohio, married Mary Shellenbarger abt 1796/97, probably in Bullskin Twp, Fayette Co PA. Mary Shellenbarger was born 1778/9, probably in (West) Hempfield Twp, Lancaster Co PA, died 1862 Ohio. Mary Shellenbarger and her family moved from (West) Hempfield, Lancaster to Bullskin Twp, Fayette Co PA in 1790 when she was only abt age 12.
Thomas Walker and Mary Shellenbarger had 12 children, 11 of which were born in Fayette Co PA. I have all of their names and dates, some spouses, and all of my direct line down from their 12th child, Joseph Walker 1826-1895.
I don't know where my Thomas Walker was born in PA. Some speculate that his father was the Thomas Walker in the 1790 census in Hempfield, Lancaster Co PA. If so, there were a lot of people living in the household, maybe siblings (2-7-4). Some think that the John Walker that married Barbara Rist was one of his brothers.
I'd appreciate any information on either my Thomas Walker or the Thomas Walker in the Hempfiled, Lancaster Co 1790 census. Thanks.

I'm looking for children and grandchildren of David Isreal Walker.
He was married to Katie Masier and they had 14 children and lived in Alva, Oklahoma during the late 1800's and early 1900's before he left his family and then evidently moved to British Columbia. Some of the children from that marriage were: Jerry, Mina, Martha, Charlie, Bill, Jasper, and Blanch.

I heard he remarried, perhaps more than once.

He died in 1948 in Cranbrook, B.C. at the age of 85 or 88.

I am interested in locating relatives from all family
members.

I'm interested in info about the Walker family connected to the Wall Street brokerage house, "Joseph Walker and Sons" A son, Joseph Walker Jr. married Elizabeth Lagrange Sloan daughter of railroad baron, Samuel Sloan. Joseph Walker's grandson, Samuel Sloan Walker jr. later became a member of skull-n-bones, friend of President George H W Bush, CIA person, and Brown Brother Harriman person. I suspect this Walker family may be related to the Bush political dynasty (H.W.=Herbert Walker) but i'm not certain.

Looking for additional information on ancestors and descendants of George Walker, born Prince Georges County, Maryland October 17, 1758 of Francis [G1712]according to records of St. John's Church. On February 4th, 1777, at the age of 17 and a half, George Walker enlisted as a matrosse (gunner's helper) for three years. He was in Company #6, whose officers were John Drawbridge, Captain and Michael McNemona, First Lieutenant, as it stood at Valley Forge June 4, 1778. She was born in Indiana or Tennesee on November 17,1820, and died on March 25, 1900, near Pella, Iowa. She was 79. The family rumor is that she was Cherokee, and I would love to know for sure. I would be proud if she were. My Mothers family are all gone, and there is no one left to ask. My Mother was born 4 years after Julia died, so she never saw her, but I have a charcoal drawing of her taken from a TinType, and she certainly looks Native American. Her Father was a native of Kentucky, and her Mother a native of Tennesee. Someone out there know of her? Please help!!!!

They were not sure where or when as he had also left them. We know he had ties to the Youngstown area. His name is Thomas Patrick Walker. He was born 3-13-1912 in Butler, Co. Pa. He is caucasian and of catholic faith. I do not have a SSnumber nor can I find him listed on SSDI. I have tried without success to get a death certificate from Ohio. Any help much appreciated. Thanks, Jack

Please help me someone. I am trying to locate information on my forefathers. My grandfather was Claude Bert(ram) Walker, born in England about 1900 to 1920, married to Magdalene Louw in Zambia about 1948. Worked as an accountant on the copper mines, and died in Durban about 1972. A brother of his is said to have been resident in Cape Town and worked with Dr Chris Barnard the famous heart surgeon. Any information gladly accepted.
