why
Sorry, maybe I don't understand your question. Darrach wanted to write a complete picture of Fischer so he also included Fischer's difficult character.

> Don't u think that the authors of "Bobby Fischer goes
>to War" may use Darrach's book as one of the sources?
Sure but they also contacted a lot of people themselves.

Palsson, a father of many children, works
>for only 300 dollars for several months? Are u sure it
>is true? Can u imagine ur father doing the same thing?
Yes, very sure. Palsson hoped to get fame via Fischer.

>went out to eat anywhere and did not pay a rent? I

In the video Sneider on my website says that Fischer got spoiled. To maintain somebody like Fischer, cost a lot of money. He only had his pricemoney and paid a lot of taxes over it. Living for years on the back of people of the WWC just compensates for the money he donated. Fischer had no other income because he was paranoid that anybody made money on him.

Most likely he did but nobody introduces himself as a KGB officer. Rejkjavic was filled with Soviet officials aand Darrach describes some of these officials. He did not say he had a beer with them but I would not be suprised if he did. A good journalsit should have tried to contact these men.
