Cause a) u said Darrach is a decent writer and wrote a truthful portrait and b) u were wondered how Fischer trust him. When somebody is decent why not trust him?

When he was a young single adventurist it would be possible. But it is unlikely that the head of a big family(how many children did he have by the way?) works without contract, for 300 dollars only and after that keeps relation with the man who fooled him.

But did not Fischer publish several chess books? That is also an income? Also: what does it mean he lived "on the back of WWC members"? Borrowed money from them and did not return the debts?

Yes, the KGB officers don't wear their military uniform. But what did Darrach write about those "officials" in his book?
