Asociacions are always unintensional. This book is closely connected with both of u and I bought it cause of ur talks. I remember how Rita persuaded u to buy it and how u both discussed it then. But for those talks I would have missed the book too.

>Anyway the facts you mention are interesting. How many
>pages did they add to the original? My English version
>(1994) ends with a chapter written by Yu. Averbakh,
>titled “AU RECHERCHE DU TEMP PERDU”.

Russian version contains 528 pages and finishes with the chapter about Sveti Stefan(from 495 page). The article of Averbakh has another title, not so sophisticated.

>Can you tell me on which page the article about
>Fischer's funny walk was written?

On the pages 225-228. The article looks like typical "black PR".

>When you are right about the author I will change it
>on my webpage.

The article is called "Subjectively on Fischer", the name of the author is Anatoly Golubev(on the picture at 225th page he is smoking a pipe)

>So the extreme exaggeration of Fischer’s shoe size is
>a translation error and not a filthy commy trick, to
>blacken Fischer.
>It does say in the book: “placing his huge, size 45,
>shoes on the ground”?

Yes, exactly.
