Subject: Interesting, but don't you find the magazine story suspicious?
In reply to: Peter van der Hoog 's message, "No, I haven't..." on Wed, July 23 2003, 5:22:38

They replay the interviews randomly. Why don't you
send an email to the Chess FM site, perhaps they can
tell you when Chun is broadcasted. Might be
interesting, he is working on a new book about
Fischer.

Then I maybe write to Rene himself and ask him what he said. By the way when I sent him the pictures of Ellsworth and Beria he did agreed that they're amazingly resembling each other.

Timman found it very curious to see Boris
and Bobby, both Jewish, talk the whole evening about
World Jewish conspiracy and Spasski agreeing with
Fischer. PvdH

But Spasski is not Jewish. His mother was a Russian peasant and his father was a son of an Orthodox priest. At least that is what he told Lev Khariton in the interview.

Yer translation is very interesting but I am not sure that the story is authentic.

“Just have a look”, he requested me again and pointed
at a next image. I did not find that funny anymore.
“Not my taste”, I said therefore, which did not annoy
him. “Translate for me, what it says.”
I did him that pleasure and explained him a few lines,
but it did not make much fun.
“The text is really not interesting.” That was even
very benevolently formulated.
“But it says from which town she comes.” Apparently he
had a diligent attempt to understand the German text.
“I hope you don’t believe everything, what is printed
in such a magazine? I asked in unbelieve.
“But of course” Read on.”
“No really, for that you have to find yourself
somebody else.”
He teased me for quite sometime, but I did not let
myself persuade, because I was convinced that when I
would give away this time, it would not be only for
this time.

Very strange and suspicious story, because Fischer speaks German himself. I don't think he would ask Petra to translate the text. You are sure she wrote the truth?

In fact Bobby explained me at the end of
our little discussion:
“You know, I buy this magazine every Friday. I get up
extra early and get it right away at nine o’clock,
>when the shop opens…

You must be joking, I said. “But no, it’s true. I get
up at eight o’clock, so I can have breakfast and be at
nine at the shop.

Very unlikely too, because in all the articles about Fischer it was written that he gets up very late.

Ellsworth disapproves of Fischer's political and
racial views, at least according to Petra and that
conflicts with Zita's opinion about Elsworth.

It means that one of the two women lied. Do you think it was Zita?
