На днях американская газета "Philadelphia inquirer" опубликовала рассекреченные документы ФБР, в которых рассказывается о возможных связях Фишера и его семьи с КГБ. Мать Фишера - Регина - с 1933 по 1938 годы проживала в СССР, а затем переехала в Америку. Сестра шахматиста - Джоан - окончила в 50-х годах Первый московский медицинский институт.

Под подозрение попал и сам Бобби, посетивший Москву в 1958 году в возрасте 15-ти лет. Очевидцы до сих вспоминают появление американского вундеркинда в Центральном шахматном клубе СССР, где Бобби не зная усталости, день и ночь напролет выигрывал все блиц-партии.

О своем первом и единственном посещении Советского Союза будущий 11-й чемпион мира отозвался так: "Что я могу сказать о стране, в которой нет нормальных туалетов?"

Тем не менее, сомнения в благонадежности Фишера оставались у американских спецслужб еще четверть века.

Информацией о Фишере поделился с "ФАКТАМИ" старейший гроссмейстер мира Андрэ Лилиенталь. По словам Лилиенталя, у 59-летнего Фишера и его молодой подруги-японки, живущих ныне в Стране Восходящего солнца, родился ребенок.

Any news on the legendary world chess champion Bobby Fischer always becomes sensational. One of these days an American newspaper " Philadelphia inquirer" published FBI files in which it is said about possible connection between Fischer and his family with the KGB. Fischer's mother, Regina lived in the USSR from 1933 till 1939, and then moved to America. Joan, the sister of the chess player, graduated from the First Moscow medical institute in the 50s.

Bobby, who visited Moscow in 1958 at the age of 15 was also under suspicion. Eyewitnesses still recollect occurrence of the American child prodigy in the Central chess club of the USSR where Bobby had been spending days and nights without a break, playing blits.

Being asked about his first and only visit to the Soviet Union the future 11-th world champion has responded: " What can I tell about the country without any normal toilets? "

Nevertheless, doubts in Fischer's reliability remained with the American special services still a quarter of century.

The oldest international grand master Andre Liliental shared the Information with "FACTS" and said that 59-year- old Fischer and his young Japaneze girlfriend have got a child.
