I'm new to racing+this is my first "real" racecar. The shop that built my motor(R+S Competition)told me to get a good big set of headers +recommened Lemon's. I spoke to Dan I provided him with all the info. The smile that those big ol headers brought they got delivered disappeared when I couldn't get them to fit!! Dan was more then helpful, assuring me that one way or another he would resolve this even if it meant making up a new set. Being a novice my 69 Camaro had a smallblock that I swapped out for my new big block. The butcher before me cut a piece out of the engine mount+reversed the mount on the other. So I threw them away+bought new big block mounts+tried to put my Lemon's in - NO WAY !
Dan patiently explained that the two different mounts move the position of the motor. Had new smallblock mounts overnighted +we slammed those babies in!! Brooklyn style (a few shot's of Jack,a few choice curse words+of course some skinned knuckles). They do look sweet on.
Thanks again for your product+your patience. Can't wait to fire up those 600 inches!!
I'm not a relative or been paid to say this...however if Dan out of the goodness of his heart wants to send his loyal New Yawk customer+new bud one of his cool t-shirts (size large) I wouldn't be upset.
Big Al
