Linda,
I would want to know why the dog is working the TRACK faster then you want.

Sometimes I let myself follow along at to fast a pace. Like Peter tells me, YOU have to control the speed of the dog Tracking.

Just a thought, how long is your dog being crated before you work a track?

I don't think more turns is the answer because your dog should work the turns same as a straight leg of track.

My pup picks up the pace when very little food is dropped on the track, she's working faster to get the food. I think this is something we have to work out as she advances.

Linda, something I just thought of. How long are your tracks? Just a beginner thinking!!

Have you talked to Peter about your dogs pace when tracking?

Maybe Peter and I can come down and track with you during the weekdays.
