We have a Boxer in our club that shows no interest in tracking. The dog has skipped meals before, but still shows no interest in a variety of food, meat, cheese, etc., and will walk right over the pieces. We do not teach forced tracking in our club, so that is not an option. This is a young male, about 11 months. He does like to play with a tug toy and we have put that at the end of the track, but then he races along, not really scenting the track, and grabs the hidden tug when he gets to it. This is very frustrating. Does anyone know of a site where they deal with Boxers in particular (re schutzhund) or does anyone have an idea about what to do with this dog? Thanks.
