Aro was also bred by Jeanette Mitchell, and owned by her. If I remember correctly Nemesis Gaddis was sired by Graf Quirinus v Neerlands Stam and out of Nicole v Norden Stamm. Nicole is also the mother of Aro. The Canine Eye Registration Foundation(CERF)does maintain an online database. It can be found thru a search engine, just type in the name above and it will take you right to it. It's very self explanatory from there. Here are some results I found there of dogs related to Gaddis. Gaddis herself is not listed there, but since she was sold to Europe and has always lived there, I wouldn't expect her to be. It's too bad Europe doesn't have a central system for maintaining these results. There are quite a few related names listed on the CERF site as testing clear, including two littermates of Gaddis. That is the most info I can give you, except for a couple of suggestions. Have you asked Gaddis' owner? I know he has/had a website. You might also want to try contacting the people at West Point Dobermans in the U.S. They are originally from Finland, I believe, and own/owned Nemesis Gilli, a litter sister to Gaddis. Gilli tested clear and is CERF certified. I have been told that Jeanette Mitchell is no longer involved in Dobermans, but the people at West Point might know where she could be contacted or at least have further health information for you. You could also try contacting Luci Newsom of von Koepsel Dobermans. She and Jeanette bred in partnership for awhile. Additionally my dog, as I said, is a son of Nemesis Aro v Norden Stamm, which makes him I guess a nephew of Gaddis'. I had his eyes tested, and he tested clear. I didn't send the results into CERF because I wasn't going to breed him, but I do still have the paperwork signed by opthalmologist.
