本報北京專電特派記者王虎李明軍報道第六代電影導演張元日前投身到電視劇的拍攝中去，昨天，攜帶著電視處女作《閃》到影視會展中心的他對於媒體的疑惑，滿不在乎地說：「說我『張元風格』行，說我『時尚先鋒導演』可以，罵我蛻變的也行。給我冠什麼名都可以，我無所謂，反正都是你們說的，又不是我講的。」

坐在張元身邊的主要演員，清一色陌生面孔，缺少了明星來主打，張導倒並不在乎：「這批新人各個都年輕靚麗，再配以精彩情節，這些就夠了。不過在該劇中趙薇和徐靜蕾將友情演出。」說到此，張元還不無炫耀地稱，當年趙薇上北京電影學院前，在他導的《東宮西宮》中只演了個小角色，不也慢慢成名了嗎？記者插問道：「可不可以說沒有你當年的發掘，就不會有趙薇的今天？」張導立刻補充說：「我可不敢這樣講，我只想說明人都是從默默無聞開始的，這次我選的新人也一樣。」至於現在的趙薇和當年有何變化時，張導只迴避性地答道：「趙薇特別成功，成功極了。」
